Lakshmi Krishnan is a physician and cultural historian of medicine at Georgetown University, where she is the Founding Director of the Georgetown Medical Humanities Initiative.

Dana A. Williams is a Professor of African-American literature and Dean of the Graduate School at Howard University. Prior to serving as Dean, she served as Chair of English at Howard University for nine years. 

Joey Jebari, Ph.D. is a philosopher and bioethicist with expertise in structural injustice, health equity, and trust in medicine. A longtime DC resident, he is passionate about developing community-engaged approaches to promoting health and well-being in the District.
