Chief of Staff

Alisa's Story

Alisa’s sinuous path started in laboratory animal science and progressed through every phase of the research lifecycle as a client-facing consultant to the federal government. Known for her forthright stewardship and mission focus, she has served as a trusted advisor and liaison for transitioning and newly formed health research and technology organizations. Alisa received her Masters in Laboratory Animal Science (MLAS) and Doctorate of Health Science (DHSc) from Drexel University, a Masters of Bioscience Regulatory Affairs from Johns Hopkins University, and completed her undergraduate degree at Xavier University of Louisiana. She is a skilled policy, strategy, and project management professional who previously maintained her community presence through coaching cross country and track. Alisa feels privileged to aptly join her propensity for community involvement to her quest for research with social value and education opportunities. She believes that system level healthcare improvements begin with interdisciplinary coalitions who value the context of the community. Outside of MHHJ, Alisa balances her love for the arts and sports through live music, sporting events, and the theater.
