Andrew's Story
Andrew Glick is a Washington DC native and Research Coordinator at Georgetown University. While relatively new to the medical and health humanities field, he began his career in research while attending University of Pittsburgh working for various data collection centers, mainly conducting BRFSS surveys to gauge health indexes and disparities in Pennsylvania. After graduating in 2020 he continued to work in research, eventually contributing to another study as a research assistant in Pitt’s Cardiology Department focused on health disparities between urban and rural populations, centering around Atrial Fibrillation in western PA. In 2023 he began his current position at Georgetown, assisting Dr. Lakshmi Krishnan with various research projects for the Medical Humanities Initiative and contributing to the development of the Center for Medical Humanities and Health Justice.
